CONSTRUCTION WELL UNDER WAY
The expansion of Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor is underway. This $70 million project will see the historic campus of Bayou Manor transformed to include a new, 14-story residential tower, the East Tower, with 84 new residents and 25 assisted living residences. The transformation began in 2013, when low-rise Garden Apartments and an adjacent apartment complex were removed to make way for the new tower and additional parking for the existing community, the West Tower.
In late 2014, ground officially broke on the East Tower, and work began on extensive renovations of the West Tower and healthcare amenities. Opening in 2015, the East Tower boasts some of the finest, state-of-the-art amenities of any Senior Living Community in Houston. Future and current residents can look forward to exciting dining venues, beautifully appointed common areas, carefully landscaped gardens, sweeping views of downtown Houston, and event venues, including a 200-seat event center. This, along with numerous wellness programs, fitness amenities, a gracious and attentive staff, and a welcoming, engaged community of residences, all with the promise of care should the need arise, will make Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor the height of Senior Living in Houston.
