One of the many benefits of choosing Brazos Towers as your home is the wide array of choices available to you. We offer everything from studio living to two bedroom residences – so just about everyone can find exactly what they are looking for. Upon moving in, you will pay a one-time 90% refundable entrance fee. A monthly fee covers the ongoing cost of living at Brazos Towers.

As a full-service, continuing care retirement community, Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor offers everything you need to continue your vibrant lifestyle with the assurance that if you need assistance, it is readily available. In addition to services such as dining, housekeeping, safety, maintenance, grounds keeping, transportation and a variety of activities, Brazos Towers offers a clinic, rehabilitative services, licensed assisted living and memory care and full 24-hour nursing care on campus. The monthly fee includes:
- Utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash removal)
- A flexible dining plan
- Weekly housekeeping
- Cable television
- Internet service
- Interior and exterior maintenance
- All major appliances
- Grounds keeping
- Use of wellness and fitness areas and all common spaces
- Scheduled transportation
- Safety services and urgent call response
- Activities to enrich and enhance the lives of all residents including day trips, classes, performances, social events and much more

Sooner is better than later! The residents of Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor are all individuals but they agree they wish they had moved sooner. No longer burdened with home-ownership, residents have time for new opportunities or to do more of what they already love doing. And, research from several universities has shown that the vibrant lifestyle found in communities like Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor enhances health and extends longevity. In-addition, When asked 80% of residents in like communities wish they had moved sooner than they did. With so much to do in our bustling community, you will want to spend every moment of your retirement enjoying it.
Because of our commitment to total person wellness, we recognize how important it is to your well-being to be close to your loved ones. One of the many benefits of living in a full-service continuing care community like Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor is the comfort of knowing that if your spouse or loved-one needs assistance, they can receive care under the same roof. It is a short walk to the health center, or you may request care in your residence as needed. Should one of you require hospitalization or specialty care, our staff can assist you with finding the right professionals and help untangle the mysteries of health care reimbursement, transportation, scheduling and discharge planning.
Almost all of the apartments have full kitchens, many residents prefer traditionally-serviced dining available for continental breakfast, lunch and dinner in our Dining Room. For persons who request, service is available in your home through carry-out service. Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor also offers a private dining room with a beautiful view of the skyline where we may cater a special birthday, family or holiday celebration for you. The expansion will include a casual café; where we will serve lighter offerings over extended hours to suit your active schedule.
For flexibility and choice, residents receive a monthly dining allowance which will be enough for at least one 3-course meal per day. This allows you to eat when and where you choose. If you would like to increase the allowance to three meals per day that is available as well.
We want your first days at Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor to be comfortable as possible which is why we developed our Smooth Move program. If you would like to take advantage of moving assistance we can provide you with:
- Approved, local real estate professionals to help price, list and sell your home
- Approved, local professionals to stage your home, help you choose what to take with you to Brazos Towers and place all your personal items exactly where you want them
- Assistance with disposition of items you do not want to keep
- Approved, local and national moving company that will pack and safely move your furnishings
- Two hours of complementary interior design assistance
- Ongoing assistance and guidance from the Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor Move-In Coordinator
We understand moving from your current home to a retirement community is a big decision that affects you and your family. That is why it is important for your family members to understand the decision you make and feel as good about it as you do. Be candid with them about why you are considering moving (household burdens, desire for activity and new friends, health concerns).
Your transition will be much easier if your family’s questions are answered and they are well informed. They are welcome to tour our Information Center and meet staff members and residents so they can hear first-hand how much they enjoy Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor.
Your happiness and well-being are what your children and loved ones care about most. When they see how confident you are in your future, they will be confident and supportive as well.
Because we understand how important your pet is to your well-being, we are a pet-friendly community as long as your pet is friendly to all other residents and staff. Well-behaved dogs under 50 pounds and cats are welcomed to the Brazos Towers community.
Brazos Towers at Bayou Manor is a qualified 501(c)3 organization committed to serving our residents regardless of changes in their ability to pay the monthly fee. Our Benevolent Fund accepts donations directly or through our planned giving program to ensure that we continue to operate on a sound financial basis while providing continuing care to all residents.
